R-134a is a colorless gas under normal temperature and colorless transparent liquid under own pressure. It is widely applied in refrigerator, freezer and the automobile air-conditioning, also may be served as Aerosol in the medicine and cosmetic field.

R-134 thermal and the physical properties are making it become one of the extremely effective and the safe substitute for R12 in refrigerant industry. R-134A is mainly used in the domestic electric appliances, small fixed refrigeration, the center refrigerator in the supermarket and commercial refrigerator.

The compressor producer usually suggests POE (Polyol Ester) and PAG (Polyalkylene Glycol) as the freezer lubricating oil. R 134A heat-transfer property is similar with R12, therefore the refrigeration system modification is quite easy.
